Traveling through and needed something to fill the hungry spot. I don’t usually eat burgers and fries since not on my health eating protocol. I think I would have been happy just having a frozen yogurt but the dinner was enough calories. The local kids were interesting watching them interact.
I had a sweet chili hamburger with an order of battered fries. My wife had a pastrami sandwich. The burger and very generous order of fries were very tasty. The hamburger actually tasted like it had been grilled! Wonderful! Loved the fries which were hot and tasty with a very nice kick of spicy heat. The pastrami on rye was also very tasty and hot out of the kitchen. A little pricey, but we enjoyed the meal.
I came in a little scared because I read a couple bad reviews but the food actually turned out really good and the wait was not as long as I was expecting it to be. It took about 10 minutes for 4 burgers and 3 servings of fries. The fries were extremely crispy and crunchy. The sweet potato fries looked burnt, but were actually cooked really well. The burgers had fresh ingredients and were nice and hot when we got them, and had a very nice flavor. Overall I would recommend this place and feel like these bad reviews don’t do it justice.
Very tasty fresh-made food. Fun self-serve ice cream with several options of flavors and toppings. Just right prices. Worth going out of the way to visit.
Very nice local non-chain place serving fresh cooked food to order. Hamburgers, and other dishes available including frozen yogurt. Plenty of parking. Outside seating also available. Order at the counter and your name will be called or food delivered to your table depending on how busy they are.
Food was awesome. Staff was kind. My only issue was that there was no soap in the bathroom. I saw a staff member exit the bathroom drying his hands on his pants. I told another staff member that there was no soap in the restroom. She apologized and said they would fix it. It had not been changed 30 min later. I really want to take this review down and I will as soon as they can confirm soap issue is solved.
I love icebox. The hamburgers are fantastic, the service is great - especially tonight. The girl who helped me was super friendly. It is a little slow, but with how fresh the food is, it’s understandable.
First time eating at The IceBox & Round About Grill. It was highly recommended by a friend. The 4 star rating was due to cold onion rings and barley warm and dry burgers. I must say that the flavors were good. I may need one more trip there to see if it was just and understaffed or off day.
